VN Background Pack (Phone Photography)
A downloadable asset pack
this is a collection of photos usable as background images for visual novels & the like.
free to use for both commercial and noncommercial games, no credit needed, but if you use them let me know what you make! i'm nosy ^_^
lots of different subjects in lots of different locations. three countries, at least seven US states, etc... i tried to remove exif data from everything and not include any that show distinct people/anyone's face, but some might've slipped through. there are a lot of photos after all. if you find something with identifying info in it (faces, license plates, etc) please remove those elements/blur the before using the image.
photos are all by me from between 2017-2023
most are shot on iphone 6, some on google pixel, some on moto stylus. i think a few photos off a canon point-and-shoot ended up in the mix as well lol
they don't all look great, but they're fun if you want that early low-quality digital camera kind of look. i like them :)

jumpscared by a photo of a very specific coffee place i used to go to on lunch hour lmao but also this is such a good variety pack of locations 🙏 hopefully i’ll have opportunities to put it to good use!
hehe i think i know which one! i only went once, my high school poetry club stopped there while walking to a field trip destination... i ended up spilling my coffee on my clothes and i had dressed cute that day >_<
